Do you sell tickets?
No. İstanbul'da ne var does not sell tickets, take bookings, accept payments or earn commission. It shows which sites sell an event; the "Tickets" button takes you to the selling site's own page. Payment, refunds and changes are subject to that site's terms.
Where does the event information come from, and how often is it updated?
It is compiled from the public pages of theatres, concert venues, municipalities, museums and sports clubs, and updated regularly throughout the day.
Why are some events missing?
Each source has different terms for sharing its information, so not every event may be listed. If you are an organiser or a venue, write to us to add your event.
Are event names and descriptions in English?
The site's interface is in English, but event names and descriptions are shown as the source publishes them, usually in Turkish.
A time, price or venue looks wrong. What should I do?
Changes at the source can reach our site a few hours late. Check the sales page before buying. Report the error to us; adding the event page address is enough.
How do I find free events?
Use the "Free only" option on the home page, the "Free" button in the category list or the Free events page. Most events at municipal culture centres are free; some need a booking.
My image or event information is on the site and I want it removed.
E-mail us with the subject Kaldırma talebi (removal request): (1) the page address, (2) which image or information it is, (3) a short explanation showing you hold the rights or act for the rights holder, (4) how we can reach you. Requests are assessed within 3 working days at the latest; if there is a clear infringement, the content is taken down while it is being assessed.
How do I get my event listed?
If you are an organiser or a venue, write to us: the address of your event page and the sites selling tickets are enough. Say so if you allow us to use your images.
How accurate are the departure times in "Getting home"?
They are calculated from the public transport timetable on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Open Data Portal and are estimates. The timetable may be out of date and the event's end time is often estimated too. Check Şehir Hatları (ferries) and Metro İstanbul before setting off.
Do I need an account? Do you collect personal data?
There is no account, we don't ask for personal information and we don't use cookies. The theme and "My plan" list are stored only in your browser. Details are on the Privacy and cookies page.
Can I add events to my phone's calendar?
Yes. Use "Add to calendar" for a single event, or subscribe to a district or type so new events appear in your calendar automatically.
Is there a mobile app?
No; the site is designed to work like an app on your phone. You can create a shortcut with your browser's "Add to Home Screen" option.
Is the site free?
Yes, it is free.
