Terms of use
This is an English translation for information. The Turkish version is the binding text.
These terms govern the use of the istanbuldanevar.com website (the "Site"). By using the Site you accept these terms.
1. Nature of the service
The Site is a free guide that brings together public information about events in Istanbul. It does not sell tickets, take bookings or accept payments, and it is not the organiser, seller or intermediary of the events listed. No sales or service contract is formed between the Site and the user; the terms of the site where you buy your ticket, and your rights under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, apply against that seller.
2. Accuracy of information
Information is taken from sources automatically or manually, checked and presented with care; however, its accuracy, timeliness and completeness are not guaranteed. Dates, times, prices, venues, ticket availability and public transport times are for information only. If an event is cancelled, postponed or changed, or the information changes at the source, the official page of the organiser and seller prevails. Times in the "Getting home" box are estimates.
3. Links
Ticket, source, map and directions links on the Site belong to other persons and organisations. Under Article 4 of Law No. 5651, the Site is not responsible for third-party content it links to; the organisations concerned are responsible for the content, security and terms of those sites. A link does not mean that the content is endorsed.
4. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". It is not promised that the Site will work without interruption or error. The Site cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from errors or delays in information, from the Site being unavailable or from transactions on linked sites. Under Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, this limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intent.
5. Intellectual property
The design, software, texts and the arrangement of the compiled content of the Site belong to the Site owner. Event names, images, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are protected under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and trademark law; on the Site they are shown only to present the event and refer to the source, with the source credited.
6. Removal and correction requests
If you hold the rights to some content, or believe information violates your personal rights or is wrong, write to us as described on the contact page. Requests are assessed within 3 working days at the latest; if there is a clear infringement, the content is taken down while it is being assessed. Applications and decisions under Law No. 5651 are reserved.
7. Rules for using the Site
You agree not to use the Site for unlawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt it, overload it or circumvent its security measures. Automated access to the Site is allowed only in line with robots.txt and without overloading the server; copying the content in bulk and publishing it elsewhere is prohibited.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated when necessary; the current text is always on this page. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the current terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes; your statutory rights and remedies as a consumer are reserved.
